In my post last week, I broke down and admitted that I want to give camping another chance, but I don’t know how to camp. This past week I have been researching what is needed and got incredibly overwhelmed. The initial investment in camping is very pricey, but I can see the savings in the long run.
When researching how to camp, it became clear to me why I would want to give it another shot. It is because I love nature and the outdoors. When I lived in Washington State, I use to go on hikes once every other week, and I loved it.
To be part of nature and to see its untapped beauty made me appreciate the world around me. I love going on a hike and being able to come across a hidden gem, such as a waterfall.
In a week, I will be able to go out and explore nature a bit more because the governor is starting to open up state and federal parks. I look forward to this season of exploration.
